Go to www.shopforthelibrary.net. There are over 700 stores to choose from, including Barnes and Noble, Avon, iTunes, and many clothing stores. A certain percentage of sales generated through this link will support the library!
All you need to do is go to www.shopforthelibrary.net and choose SSLDL. Sign up for a FREE account. Then download the autotrack to your computer so when you shop online it knows to automatically go through the shopforthelibrary.net website.
Each store has its own percentage that they donate to the library. Now we can support our library and shop at the same time!
Join the Friends of the Library. Volunteer time to work in the library gardens, the annual book sale, or in the ongoing book sale room.

Sponsor a magazine. Choose your favorite magazine and sponsor a yearly subscription. It can be a title the library is already receiving, or you can suggest a new title! (All magazines are subject to the library's Collection Management Policy).
Sponsor a program. Ask the librarians how you can sponsor a presenter/performer for an adult, teen, or children's program to be held at the library.
Sponsor a continuing education opportunity for a staff member.
