* Furlough days are an unpaid days for staff due to budget cuts: The Library Board approved the four (4) furlough days as a way of responding to decreased tax revenues for the 2012-13 fiscal year that began on July 1, 2012. This is the 3rd year in a row for the closure due to revenue reductions. The board evaluated many options when faced with the challenges of the budget reductions and determined that the four closures would be the least disruptive to library patrons as these days traditionally are when library usage is lowest. Cost savings for the furlough days will be approximately $9,500.
